SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCT -LABORATORY SUPERVISOR. Reporting to the Analytical Services Manager, the SFP Supervisor will be responsible for release of all SFP Batches and control of group Performance.Leading a team and working in collaboration with other groups and departments, they will ensure the timely testing and release of SFP Batches to meet all related targets. Key Responsibilities: Carry out SFP performance management (KPI, IPI) to meet all targets and attend all performance meetings. Carry out daily capacity planning based on standard work approach. Contribute to achievement of site targets Attend all laboratory and interdepartmental meetings as group and laboratory representative. Attend all regulatory and customer audits as group representative , ensuring that the group is audit ready at all times. Process all DRF’s, LIR’s, OOS’s, CC etc. in timely manner so as to meet site targets. Manage and control training within the group. Process all TMS and HR related activity. Continuously develop the group as a team and optimise resources in order to achieve targets. Carry out annual performance plans with Analysts. Continuously monitor and improve group efficiencies. Manage all projects relating to SFP group and contribute to other laboratory projects as required. Review and update all relevant documentation as necessary e.g. SOP’s, standard work, SFP Methods/Specifications etc. Attend meetings with the planning department to assist in efficient planning in production and packaging. Attributes. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate proven leadership ability and management skills, be performance and goal orientated, with the ability to prioritise. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to work are also required. Strong attention to detail, refined planning and organisation abilities with a proven track record of multi-tasking, working to tight deadlines and delegating successfully are essential. Experience in developing process improvements and leading and delivering change would be beneficial. Qualification. Candidates ideally should have a third level qualification in Science related discipline and experience in a supervisory role within the pharmaceutical industry.
