We currently have a new and exciting role available in our site in Kerry Foods, Shillelagh as PRODUCTION GROUP LEADER. Purpose: Lead a cross functional team to deliver the production stream goals using the Kerry Production System. Responsibilities: High Performing Teams (Build Sustainability Through People. Lead the production stream team to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and team work. Build trust through effective leadership and the skilled application of people management processes and open 2 way communications. Develop Production Stream Strategy: Develop and implement a production stream strategy to meet the goals of the site and business strategy. Planning all production stream activities in pursuit of the strategy on a master schedule to deliver the strategy on time and in budget Manufacturing Conversion. Manage and own total cost of conversion in the Production Steam, focusing on systems & operational activity standardisation and improvement. Passionately promote the production stream with internal and external stakeholders (including visits, verbal & written interactions. Facilitate Continuous Improvement. Check that standards set within the production stream are adhered to through layered confirmation. Organise & Optimise Labour. Manage process reliability. Monitor & Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) through implementation of Kerry Asset Management System (KAMS). Identification of bottlenecks within the process, report and conduct problem solving with relevant production stream team members. SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS. Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills. Fluency of English language. Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data. Experience of managing a team in a process environment. Understanding and ability to apply in live situations the principles and tools of lean manufacturing.
