The Role Leading and managing all operations associated with procurement, production, storage and distribution of the company’s product range. Managing and directing a team of multi-disciplinary managers. Developing and implementing Manufacturing and Distribution strategies. Implementing and supporting continuous improvement. Reporting of KPIs and performance management. Management of plant and facilities, and production management personnel. Identify any gaps and develop need based on business strategy. Develop annual budgets based on business forecasts. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements through effective Quality, and H&S Systems. Management of Health & Safety. Support the implementation of strategic business plans. Liaise with HR in the management of personnel. Management of Maintenance. Management of Logistics. Input to design of plant expansion project. The Person Strong people management, coaching & leadership skills. Effective decision making skills. 3 rd Level Qualification in related area. A minimum of 8 years operations management position. Strong Lean experience. History of CPD. Formal training in Health & Safety.
