Position: Foreman / Groundworks Foreman. Location: Co. Wicklow. I have the privilege in assisting our client a leading Civil and Building Contractor in Ireland who are actively looking for a Foreman to join their Ground works team. This is a great company to work for with very low turn over of staff. They look after site development / ground works projects in the residential sector as well as energy, telecommunications, wind-farm, property and infrastructure sectors across Ireland. The successful Foreman will be working on a large residential project in Co. Wicklow. You will work alongside the project managers and engineers on site and you will be responsible for coordinating ground works projects from green site to floor level of houses, leading a team of groundworkers. Requirements. Leaving cert qualification or higher. At least 3-4 years experience in managing similar size construction projects. Previous ground works experience on a residential project is desirable. Self started able to manage and motivate other members of work crew. Having some previous Setting Out experience a strong advantage. Excellent communication skills required.
